Meet the Team
Dr. Talia Nutting
Dr. Talia Nutting has provided exceptional dental care in Knoxville since 2009. She has studied extensively on implant restoration at the Zimmer Implant Institute and with Biomet’s Synergy Program. Dr. Nutting has received intensive training on Cerec CAD/CAM technology, which allows the office to offer crowns in one day. She is also a member of the prestigious Kois Center in Seattle, Washington.
Dr. Nutting dedicates herself to providing dental care with state-of-the-art technology that is beautiful and long lasting. She prides herself on providing the same care for her patients as she would provide to her own family. Dr. Nutting feels she owes it to her patients to never stop learning, which is why she routinely completes at least double the state requirements for continuing education each year. Dr. Nutting most cherishes the relationships she has with her patients. Her favorite part of every day is helping people get the care they need while making sure that personal touches aren’t lost in today’s fast paced world.
Dr. Nutting grew up just down the road in Kingston, Tennessee. She went on to study at the University of Tennessee, earning high honors at the College of Dentistry. Dr. Nutting and her family are residents of West Knoxville. Her husband Marshall works in the University of Tennessee athletic department (Go Vols!). When not at the office, you can find her lending support to her son Grant’s school and sports activities and making a point to hear great live music. She loves hot tea, coffee and the Rolling Stones.
Dental Team
Rhonda
Hi, my name is Rhonda Watson. I may be one of the first people you come into contact with at our practice as I am at the front desk. I started in dentistry in 1975 (first as an assistant and then as a hygienist) but found I loved to talk more than anything else! I still enjoy everything about the dental profession and am so excited about the opportunity to welcome you to the Nutting Comprehensive Dental Family.
Sara
In 2002 Sara graduated with her BS in Dental Hygiene. She spent 16 years in general dentistry in GA before moving to TN. Sara loves working with Dr Nutting and her amazing team! She enjoy getting to know my patients and families at Nutting Comprehensive Dentistry and she’s dedicated to helping them achieve their optimal overall wellness. Outside of the office, Sara loveS spending time with her husband, 2 boys and their sweet dog, Georgia.
Angie
I started my career in dentistry as a dental assistant in 1994. After working in the field of dentistry for a few years I decided to continue my education and obtained a degree in dental hygiene from Roane State in 2002. I truly enjoy interaction with patients and feel very passionately about patient education and prevention.
Robyn
Robyn has been a financial coordinator for the past 30 years. She helps patients understand their dental insurance, dental treatment costs and payment arrangements so they can achieve the dental care they desire. When she is not in the practice, Robyn can be found on the tennis court.
Brandy
Brandy has been in general dentistry for 15 years. She enjoys all aspects of dental assisting, especially patient interactions. When not in the office, you can find her crafting, spending time in the outdoors, and loving on her fur kids.
Christy
Christy has worked in our front office since May 2021. She says her favorite thing about her position is interacting with patients and ensuring their dental needs are met. A lover of animals, she and her husband have two cats, Luke and Leia. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and following UT sports.
Charlie
Charlie is the official office mascot. He has been working (if by working you mean mostly napping) at the office for over a year. Charlie Watts Nutting is named after a famous musician – bonus points if you know who! If he’s not in the break room waiting for someone to drop a cracker, he’s asleep in Dr. Nutting’s personal office. Feel free to ask about Charlie and say hi when you are here for your appointments!
